The Coronavirus quickly shook the world causing everything to come to a quick halt. The virus was completely unheard of and people started to wonder where it came from. There has been talk about the virus being created in a Level 4 Biosafety Laboratory. To combat this, journalists are using scientific data to explain the virus is indeed natural. An article mentions “SARS-CoV-2 is the result of recombination of viruses” to help persuade the reader. The article continues to persuade the reader by mentioning the myths and truths behind genetic manipulation. This helps the reader understand the obscurity between myths and the truth. Although, it is much more interesting to believe the Coronavirus is man-made it is simply not true.
