In this movie is based on a political thriller, but has some journalistic elements added to it. This story centers around a man named Jim grant a former anti-Vietnam militant living a seemingly normal life until his identity is exposed by an aggressive reporter named Ben Shepard. This results in Grant going on the run trying to prove his innocence as he avoids the FBI. This movie provides us at least some insight on how some reporters struggle with ethical issues as journalist and how people need to live with the consequences of their past actions.
