The Front Page

Cade Novicke

For the past few days, I have been looking at the front pages of newspapers. It has come to my attention how important visual rhetoric is when it comes to news. Different companies use different styles when it comes to their visual appeal. They either use paragraphs in bold letters and bright big pictures on the front of their page. It brings the audience's attention in and attracts them to the news story. If the newspaper wasn’t visually appealing then no one would want to read it. If there are too many words and the news takes forever to read then the audience will be drawn away.
