In her article she explains the rough times facing a lot of journalists in the latest year. There are simply not enough structures in place to support the amount of journalists who are struggling to keep their jobs. This is causing a lot of journalists to take less than ideal jobs. These less than ideal jobs include journalism jobs without any health benefits, freelance or part time. The world of journalism is moving more and more electronic and not so many newspaper firms have survived. This has also contributed to the loss of jobs for journalists.
