Fake news has always been frowned upon and many believe no one can profit off of it. Or can they? This article spoke about the background of a news article with the title of "FBI Agent Suspected In Hillary Email Leaks Found Dead In Apparent Murder-Suicide." Tracking down the owner of the site it was posted on was Jestin Coler claiming the fake article was meant to be fake. Coler claimed he didn't do it for the money he got from said article, but to show people how easily fake news can be easily spread. His main audience were Trump supporters seeing as it was close to the 2016 election. "Coler fits into a pattern of other faux news sites that make good money, especially by targeting Trump supporters."
