Now, Mariana Moura Santos predicts that journalists will start collaborating more because, "We've seen the ideas, creativity, and power that is generated when journalists... are gathered to work on projects combining their skills and their different perspectives." The news industry is going to become more integrated and less segregated. The focus will shift to helping everyone in the industry succeed rather than leaving others in the dust. With the increased integration, there will be a drastically positive change in the media coming in 2020.
