The social media platform Reddit is a wonderful place to find groups of people who are interested in specific topics that you are interested in as well. "Reddit is broken up into more than a million communities known as “subreddits,” each of which covers a different topic." It is a great platform to post and interact with like-minded individuals that share the same interest in topics you like. Though some might not know that the app is actually a great source of news as well. Reddit added this service back in 2018 and has been improving it ever since. The platform categorizes the news articles in a very subtle yet brilliant way. The platform does not force news into your feed and instead allows you to easily select it by your own choosing on its hot bar along with the ability to choose the news categories you would like to see. This allows the app to keep the news and fun separate. The app displays news articles in the same layout as any regular post which allows for a headline and image of the article. This allows the user to easily see what the article might be about and choose to either view or skip the article. Reddit does an excellent job and there should definitely be credit where credit is due.
