So far, 2020 has been a pretty tough year to predict. Nevertheless, people have made several predictions for it, especially regarding journalism. While several predictions may be a little unstable, a few proved to be true. One prediction talks about the return of blogs as an "escape hatch" from the world. While everyone is practicing social distancing at home, they are probably looking for someplace to express their ideas or talk with people who share those ideas and a blog could prove to be the perfect place to do that. Especially with the pandemic and elections going on, blogs could also serve as a source of news. Of course, it is very important to fact check them first.
