The year 2020 will be put in history books as a year to never forget and a year to learn from. 2020 did not fail the journalist community with something new and crazy to always write about. Journalists of 2020 were kept on their toes as they never ran out of things to talk about such as; climate change (wildfires worldwide/nationally), the pandemic, historical events, and the presidential election, these are just the few main points that happened in the past year. With this information to talk about its easy to get lost in what you are writing about and as a journalist you are to inform the public. Unfortunately with the crisis that took place caused many to panic, stress, and to have anxiety. Journalist Candis Callison talks about how the crisis in 2020 has caused “journalists to pay attention to system, contexts, and social ordering in a way they havent had to previously”. As we begin the year 2021, we shall proceed with caution as the future is unseeable. In this coming year journalists shall keep from a biased view and play a dynamic role as writers for society.
