After reading Mario Garcia's article, "Think Small (Screen)", he states how this decade will become a "mobile-first environment". He predicts that podcasts will become more popular with journalism. With today's consumers, news by audio is more accessible than reading any news on paper. You are able to do it on the go, in your car, on a plane, wherever you may be and it's all on your phone. It is painless as you aren't carrying around a load of papers. "When mobile-first becomes essential, the way a story moves adapts to the requirement for constant updates as well as for the inclusion of audio and video". I personally agree with Garcia's position on podcasts because as we are living in a technological era, everyone will be viewing their news on their mobile devices.
