Through the years newspaper has evolved and the types of stories also change drastically because of the info that people want to see. On the cover of the newspapers and magazines from 2000-2010 was mostly about war and serious matters going on in the united states. From then up to this day its mostly things designated to what people want to here because it is a lot more of a sensitive time now such as things like gay marriage, people wanting more rights, and drama with politics. The visuals are more in depth now because we live in a generation that won't give newspapers or magazines the time of day if there isn't an eye-catching cover.
