The movie “Kill The Messenger” follows New Reporter Gary Webb and how he broke the cocaine story and how the CIA was involved. Webb researched the connections between the government and their main witness: Oscar Blandion. He discovered the transcript of the grand jury testimony which reveals government sponsored cocaine. After the conspiracy was uncovered, Blandion was sent to trial under oath to outline the government. Webb is the confronted by agents from the CIA to stop him from publishing his story to the public. He went ahead a rolled his story which resulted in him being banished to cover droll local stories.
