On June 19, 2020, Dallas County passed a law mandating masks to be worn in all public spaces. I wanted to discuss this new rule with peers to see how they felt about it. My best friend was the first person I asked and she seemed entirely unphased. She stated "I already wear a mask anytime I leave the house" but she was glad to know that now everyone else will be joining her. I received similar responses from all of the friends but the most different reply I got was from my mother. She is approaching 60 years old but is in excellent health with no issues and thin as a twig.
