Tonya Mosley predicts that “In 2020, news organizations will stop playing the neutrality vs. objectivity game with journalists of color.” She states that every person of color, at some point in their career, has faced discrimination about whether they can be objective in the stories they cover. Mosley explains that there is a lot of flawed ideas when it comes to neutral viewpoints, saying that many times it is assumed that journalists who are white have a more neutral view. Everybody has some type of biased and Mosley states that we must learn to embrace diversity within journalism and allow all journalists to do their job.
