According to the predictions for journalism, it is said that lies will get further normalized. This prediction, I believe, is definitely coming true. If our leader can do it, why cant others?
Misinformation is very big throughout America due to our leader saying what he thinks is truthful, but not factual. According to a fact-checking database, the Washington Post states, "Donald Trump is fast approaching an astounding milestone: 14,000 “false or misleading claims.” That’s an average of 22 lies a day". That is a massive amount of claims. With false claims becoming more common, it will encourage others to think that its okay to create false information and spread it around the public.
