Twitter attempts to stop the President from spreading false information.
Recently Twitter has sprung into action in stopping the spread of misinformation on their platform. One user in particular has been a sore subject for them for a while now and that is our President, Donald Trump. Donald Trump has been known to post some fake news even though Trump is very against it according to what he says when he is on camera. Trump has posted several tweets containing false information like this one where he is talking about mail in ballots and how "Mail boxes will be robbed, ballots will be forged & even illegally printed out & fraudulently signed." Twitter marked this tweet with a "Get the facts about mail-in ballots" button that took users to info regarding mail-in ballots and how they work. This is just the beginning of Twitter getting a hold on the President after years of him spewing potentially false info on his Twitter account.
