Vietnam and Covid-19 outbreaks

According to World Meter statistics, there have been only 2,368 people tested positive, 35 people died, and 1,627 recovered from Covid-19. With the population of nearly 98 millions, those statistics proved that Covid-19 in Vietnam has been under control.

When most people think about Vietnam, mostly people think of Vietnam war, destructions, and poor technology. As a Vietnamese person who was born and raised there, I say Vietnam is not as it was in 1975. We’re a developing country now as we know how and what to enhance, which were all proven during Covid-19. With all knowledge and efforts of doctors, medical staff, especially every citizens, we fought off Covid-19 outbreaks twice. The third outbreak just started on January the 28th with the coming of new strains.

Why is Vietnam fighting off with Covid-19 so good? I got a great answer from my dad. He said, “It’s because we’re all aware and do care about other people. We have quarantine campuses, strict regulations for people going in and out of the country. We also track down whoever gets the virus and their names are updated on the news. Is it bad to publicize their names? “Definitely not. It’s for everyone’s health. They have to know it and get tested if they did have any interactions with the patient.
