Visuals are everything

Social media is used everyday by many people and a lot of the times they get their news from there. But, what makes us so intrigued to click on the post. Usually, an image will do the trick.

Clickbait is a trap we all fall into eventually. People can find ways to make you interested in a post only to find "content of dubious value or interest," as said by Webster.com. Often times, clickbait can make news seem larger than what it is and cause a bigger sense of "sensationalism." By pushing more shocking images and headlines, news sources can lure in readers over news that isn't important.
