Nowadays, people have countless methods to get news and there are so many popular news networks to choose. However, when I look at these news medias, I really have some questions, "why they seldom show common people's voice?" " Is it because that most people are voiceless or because their voices are hidden behind the news?"
Recently, the Covid-19 is the biggest issues around the world, and undoubtedly, it is the major topic appear in all news medias. Every day when we watch news, we can see so many comments, analyzes and suggestions from different politicians, specialists and celebrities. Despite how their voices sound like, positive or negative, wise or stupid, measured or bias, at least they are heard by the public. However, when turn to the common people, they don't have the chance to let their voices to be heard. It is very rarely to hear voices from essential workers, front line workers and people who struggling under the poor line level. These people are more vulnerable and suffer a lot from the virus, but it seems like that no one care about their thoughts. Their voices are not amplified to be heard. A community leader Amalia Deloney once said, "We do not have voiceless residents; we have community members who have not been heard."
