Approximately 2000 residents in Garland Texas still have no running water. According to one resident she was offered to come and shower and fill up water jugs if she wanted to. This brought her to tears because of the kind and unselfish gesture from a total stranger. She states her family will be relocated to another unit while the water damage in her unit is repaired. As of last night 2,443 residents still was without water, while this is better than the 6,000 from earlier this week, we still have a long way to go. ”The city has delivered them bottled water, but residents say it has not been enough.”
