Personally, I don't find news on any other apps apart from Twitter, so when figuring out how different news apps deliver their news, I turned to an avid news reader- my dad. The main news he likes to read about is sports related, so we discussed a few different places where my dad reads his daily sports news. Firstly, there is a radio show called "The Ticket" where news is relayed in a very humorous fashion. Partnered with the Ticket is SportsDay, which "focuses on opinions based on sports information" according to my dad. Finally, there was ESPN, which my dad said was the most straightforward, factual app he uses for information. These different strategies definitely appeal to different groups of people and can communicate the same information effectively.
