Journalism may have become one of the most difficult professions in society today. As generations go on, new opinions and ideologies are being thrown into this world and that makes in increasingly difficult for journalist to provide strictly factual information. Journalists also are tasked with providing credible sources, to make sure that they are not displaying fake news. Constantly staying up to date and trying to get out all the news as fast as you can, is also a constant struggle within this industry. Robert Niles explains journalism in the simplest form as " telling people what really happened, that they might not know already ". There is no security in this job, especially if there is a decline in their industry, journalist will be the most affected. With all these things on their plate, citizens rely heavily on them, which also means that many journalists constantly face backlash. But, without journalists many things wouldn't be able to function and many people would be left in the dark.
