On April 8th, 2020, Bernie Sanders has dropped out of the presidential election of 2020. His reason for suspension of his campaign was to keep the democratic party in one party. Many young people still look up to Sanders, he has been fighting for America since we all can remember and he had many promising goals for this country. The dedication his supporters had for him to win the election, can lead to exactly what Sanders did not want, a split of the democratic party. Joe Biden is running as a moderate democrat, while Sanders was running as a socialist. Sanders is not fully out of the race, he is just suspended, meaning democrats can still vote for him. This can lead to a division of party which will end up in the reelection of Donald Trump.
