Recently elected president Joe Biden proposed a new round of stimulus checks. This could mean many American's may be eligible to receive a $1400 check from the US government. Analysts say, "it could be weeks until the payments arrive." While this may be beneficial to the average Joe, this will be adding almost 2 trillion dollars worth of debt to the US government. There was a group of Republicans who came up with another proposal that would lessen the amount given to each adult. If this were to be enacted it would save the United States approximately $380 billion dollars of the national debt in comparison to Biden's relief plan.
