Women's March of 2017

On November 9th, 2018, Donald Trump was elected president and all hell broke lose. POC immediately felt like they didn't belong, certain religions already started to face discrimination, and women felt disrespected. They planned to come together to fight against Trump's harassment, neglect, and disrespect to try to ensure that throughout his presidency they would not lose their rights or feel unworthy down the road. This fight took place on January 21, 2017 and is known as the Women's March of 2017. Women from all over the country came together and marched across all of Washington D.C, in retaliation to Trump himself and anyone who voted for him. Although he is still in office, this march empowered women and proved that together we can accomplish anything.
